Our Team

Tom Hilditch


Tom is an award winning writer and editor who trained on Fleet Street and local newspapers. He has been in Hong Kong since 1991. He invented The List Magazine (2005), redesigned HK Magazine (2007) and during SARS (2003) he created the I Love HK campaign. He founded Fast Media in 2009.

Olly Simons

Sales Director

Olly, originally from London, moved to Hong Kong in 2014. He has a degree from the University of Manchester in Psychology. Olly is the owner of Cat; Fast Media’s office dog and part-time security officer. Outside of work, you can find Olly in a yoga pose or playing with Cat. If you’re lucky, you might find him doing that during office hours too!

Shreena Patel


Got a Southside secret? Heard some interesting news? Fighting a local cause? Shreena wants to hear from you. Hailing from London, her background is in Economics and she previously worked at HSBC. At the weekend you can find her drawing, on one of Southside’s trails, getting a foot massage or stocking up at the M&S bakery.

Charmaine Mirandilla

Digital Marketing Manager

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Charmaine has an editorial and media marketing background from her former roles at HK Magazine, The List and Where Hong Kong. After a brief stint in the PR world working the social media accounts of the city’s hottest restaurants and bars, she returned to the media side. When not brainstorming a digital marketing campaign, you’ll find Charmaine trying a new fitness routine or a new restaurant — or doing both in one evening!

Callum Wiggins

Editor of Mid-levels Magazine

After completing his studies in modern languages in the UK, Callum moved to Hong Kong in search of new adventures and better weather. Keen to develop his writing and editorial skills Callum found himself at Fast Media after working for a number of charities and educational organisations. He can now be found searching for the best buffet deal in town as well practising his limited Cantonese with friends, colleagues and unsuspecting passersby.

Annie Wong

Editor of Sai Kung Magazine, and Editor of The Expat Dining Guide

Got news for Sai Kung Magazine? Hot new restaurant tips? Get in touch with Annie, the editor of Sai Kung Magazine and the Expat Dining Guide. Annie previously worked at Ogilvy and Mather Asia Pacific and Time Out Hong Kong.  Over the weekend, you will find her eating her way around Hong Kong, and playing the occasional tennis game.

Carolynne Dear

Editor, Expat Parent

Carolynne earned her journalism chops in London and Sydney, writing news and feature articles for a variety of publications, from finance and architecture, to travel and health, the environment and women’s issues. She has been partying and writing her way round Hong Kong since 2010, launching Southside for Fast Media in 2011, and now editing Expat Parent. She has a husband and four children and blogs about work, family and life in the Territory at beyondthehighrise.wordpress.com.

Eric Ho

Senior Staff Writer

After spending his entire life in the UK, Eric decided he wanted to learn and understand his Chinese roots so made the leap and moved to Hong Kong at the start of 2016. He has a deep love for travel, photography and sharing stories through writing; so when out of the office you can usually find him exploring with a camera in hand.

Kate Springer

Senior Consulting Editor

Kate is senior consulting editor for The Expat Dining Guide and a senior writer for Expat Parent Magazine. Kate was features editor for HK Magazine and is Founding Editor of The Loop HK.

Adele Brunner

Senior Consulting Editor

After saying goodbye to her dream job as travel editor for Brides magazine in London, Adele has lived and worked in Hong Kong for 17 years. As well as freelancing for the South China Morning Post and other publications, she is senior consulting editor at Fast Media, where she has contributed to all the magazines across the board including a stint as editor of Expat Parent. In her spare time, she’s an unpaid taxi driver to three sporty children. 

Cindy Suen

Design Manager

Food-loving Cindy is an adventurous eater who will try any cuisine once. Hong Kong-born and raised, she is creative both in and out of the workplace. On weekends, she enjoys making crafts with clay and leather products.

Anna Schulteisz

Graphic Designer

Anna is our graphic designer. She moved to Hong Kong two years ago and has been loving the city ever since. She loves exploring the hills and beaches for getting inspiration. Besides art and travelling she is passionate about animals and just started to learn to play the ukulele.

Egbert Cheung

Sales and Marketing Executive

Egbert, born and raised in Hong Kong, graduated from HKUSPACE with a Bachelors degree in Marketing & Management. Egbert also plays in the same touch rugby team with our Accounting Executive, Jason. In his spare time, Egbert enjoys meeting up with friends and listening to his favourite band – Maroon 5.

Bonnie Li

Sales and Marketing Executive

While attending University in Norwich, England, Bonnie worked in a Chinese Restaurant to fund her travel addiction. Ask her about Iceland, Romania or another of her favourite travel destinations the next time you see her. Bonnie was previously in Education; teaching English and Math to children in Ma On Shan. But she managed to leave the cuteness behind to join our Marketing and Sales team – phew!

Maria Jones

Sales and Marketing Executive

Maria grew up in Hong Kong and returned after graduating The University of Winchester studying Drama & Event Management. She has previously worked in events and admin in a zoo, a theatre and in festivals in the UK and can now add a lifestyle magazine into the mix! In her spare time she is rediscovering the ever-changing city she grew up in and is always on the lookout for tips on where to go.

Amanda Chia

Personal Assistant to the CEO

Amanda earned an Honours Degree in International Business from the University of East London. She is an avid traveller, an adventurer and a shopaholic!  During weekends, she also enjoys checking out horror movies and hitting the gym.

Graham Uden

Legendary Photographer

British born Hong Kong based photographer Graham Uden is a legend for his award-winning magazine stories from world war-zones and Asian hot spots. He currently specialises in corporate and commercial photography, especially aerial. If you see someone dangling out of a helicopter, flying over Central… it’s probably Graham.

Cat the dog

Office Security and Mascot

Cat the dog, from Hong Kong Dog Rescue, is Fast Media’s new mascot. She has taken over the role of office security from Willy (who has retired to Bali).
